Effect of CO2 Huff and Puff Rounds on Crude Oil Properties

In view of the deterioration oil well liquid supply capacity and increase effect after multiple rounds carbon dioxide (CO2) huff puff, according to actual conditions Ng12 reservoir in XA oilfield, an indoor physical simulation experimental model was established. The parameters were determined, five CO2 puff experiments carried out, crude produced water flooding stage different collected. effects on viscosity, density, composition, paraffin content, gum asphaltene content studied. results show that with rounds, viscosity density decrease. light component (C2∼C6) intermediate (C7∼C10) increased, while heavy (C11+) decreased. has strongest extraction components weakest components. At same time, is reduced. For wells colloidal precipitation inhibitor scavenger should be considered reduce impact formation permeability capacity.
